Arts Open is a community-wide celebration of creativity, inviting artists and participants of all disciplines to activate spaces, connect with new audiences, and showcase their work as part of a dynamic, walkable arts experience. We welcome visual artists, performers, musicians, writers, designers, and multidisciplinary creatives, venues, local business and all who want to participate to sign up.
Whether you’re an emerging artist or an established professional, Arts Open offers an opportunity to share your work, build relationships, and be part of a vibrant cultural moment.
What To Know:
What Is Arts Open?
Arts Open is a San Pedro based arts event featuring exhibitions, performances, workshops, and interactive experiences presented across multiple venues. Artists are paired with participating locations or may choose to activate their own studio or gallery spaces.

Participating artists will be promoted through event marketing, social media, and printed materials, helping expand visibility and audience reach.
Who Should Sign Up
We encourage applications from artists working in:

Visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media)

Performance (dance, theater, spoken word)

Music and Sound

Literary arts
-
Digital, media, and installation art
-
Community-based and interactive practices

Artists must be able to present work safely and professionally in a public setting.

Please note: Participation details, including sales, stipends, or honorariums, will be communicated upon reviewal of sign up and may vary by project and venue. Not every artist is guaranteed this.
